So far in this blog, I have discussed two important concepts, the concept of authority and the concept of fearing God. The two go hand in hand.
A person will not fear God if they deny God has any authority over them.
Nor will they fear God if they deny He exists.
However, neither a person's denial of God's authority, nor a person's denial of God's existence, prevent God from exercising His authority and judgment, upon them.
As we saw in previous posts, man has no excuse for not believing in God because God has made it plain to all that He exists (see Romans 1:18-23).
Like Job, we must acknowledge God as the source of all we have, our Sovereign authority, praising Him in good times and in bad.
Do we acknowledge all we have as coming from God?
Would we grumble against God if something of ours were taken from us?
Until next time - may God bless you to know Him more.
